Welcome New Babies

It is an exciting joy when new life enters the world, and St. Peter’s has had the privilege of welcoming two new lives into our community over the past couple of months! Each new birth is a reminder of the blessing of our own creation and birth, as well as the new life we all receive in Christ. Please welcome our two newest members to our church and to the world, and praise God for their healthy and safe deliveries.

Meet Daniel Wesley Deboer. Daniel is son to Rebekah and Kyle Deboer, our children’s minister and deacon respectively. He was born on Sept. 9 at 5:07 a.m., weighing 8lbs. 10 oz. at 20.5 inches. Daniel has two sweet older brothers: Luke, 4, and Caleb, 2. Though Daniel had a quick but frightening hospital stay during his first week, he has since been healthy and growing well. Thanks be to God!

Meet Cara Elizabeth Wiley. Cara is daughter to Grace and Justin Wiley. She was born on Oct. 8 at 12:25 p.m. weighing 9lbs. at 20.5 inches. Cara has one sweet older brother, Aidan, 2.  Cara is also the fifth grandchild of our previous rector, Rev. Mark Quay, Grace’s father. Cara was baptized here at St. Peter’s on Sunday, Nov. 11. Thanks be to God!
