New Discipleship Class

Pastor Kevin will be leading a new Discipleship class at 9am starting Sunday August 26. The class will follow the Pilgrim curriculum put out by the Church of England, endorsed by Archbishop Justin Welby among other prominent Anglican leaders.

The Pilgrim Course offers an approach of “participation, not persuasion” and is written to help people explore what it means to be a Christian. It is geared in two phases toward both Seekers and Believers. Phase 1, "Follow", includes 4 6-week classes geared toward non-Christians and seekers to explore the Christian faith. Phase 2, "Grow", includes 4 6-week classes geared toward Christians to go deeper in their faith.

This fall, Pastor Kevin will begin leading a group through Phase 2: "Grow" of the Pilgrim Course. In our first six weeks, we explore the essentials of Christian doctrine through the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds. Starting in October, we will take a deeper look at the Eucharist, its meaning, and its significance in Christian worship.

This Discipleship class is open to all people of all ages, long-time believers and seekers alike. Join us in Room 208 on Sunday August 26 at 9am.
