We offer nursery care for babies and toddlers (6 months - 4 years) during the 9:00 am discipleship hour. Those 6 months - 2 years are invited to stay in the nursery throughout the 10:00 am worship service, while 3-4 year olds are invited to Mustard Seeds and K-5th grade to Kids Worship for age-appropriate discipleship. Please check in your child when you arrive. We also have a Mothers’ Room available during worship, located just outside the sanctuary, from which you can feed your infant and still view the service. If you just need some time away with your child during the service, both moms and dads are welcome to view a livestream of the service in room 208 (in the hallway just outside the sanctuary).

Children’s Ministry Sunday Offerings

Each Sunday our Children’s Ministry team provides a caring and safe environment for our babies and toddlers from 6 months to 4 years old. Children are checked in directly to the nursery, which is just inside the church entrance facing our back parking lot.

All 3-4 year olds are invited to learn about the love of Jesus and God’s Big Story through Godly Play, song, story time, and crafts. Mustard Seeds takes place during our 10:00 am worship service. Children may be checked in at the nursery at 9:45 am and checked out at 11:00 am during a moment called “the Peace,” or immediately following the service.

All K-5th graders are invited to join us for a time of age-appropriate discipleship. We will learn about who Jesus is through catechism, Scripture, and group discussion. During this time we will also enjoy a light breakfast, games and coloring. We meet in the Kids Worship room on the second floor (on the east side of the building). Check-in is located just outside the Kids Worship room.

All K-5th graders are invited to join us for a fun time of learning about the love of Jesus through games, catechism, scripture, Godly Play and group discussion. At about 10:15 and following our prayer for children in the service, the children are invited to join their teachers at the back of the sanctuary to be led to the Kids Worship room down the hall. They return to the sanctuary during the Peace at 10:50 am. Check-in is located in the Ark, just outside the sanctuary.

Child Safety and Check-In Procedures

To ensure the safety of our children, we ask all parents of children 5th-grade and younger to check their children in and out of all St. Peter’s events where childcare is available. You can learn more about these by click on our check-in procedures page.

Contact Andrew Russell, the Assistant Pastor for Families and Youth, with any questions about these policies and procedures.

All of our Nursery workers, Children’s Ministry Team, and Youth Leaders undergo background checks and abuse prevention training. It is a priority that all children and teenagers who are entrusted to St. Peter’s are protected and kept safe. If you have questions about our process or standards, please contact our Assistant Pastor for Families and Youth, Rev. Andrew Russell.
