Sunday Morning

Currently, teenagers are invited on Sunday mornings to join the adults for Core Classes during the 9:00 am discipleship hour.

Starting September 14, all 6-12th graders are welcome to join us at our Youth Core Class on Sunday mornings at 10:10 am. We’ll gather in the youth room, which is downstairs on the east side of the building, for breakfast and Bible study.

sunday evening

On Sunday evenings, all 6-12th graders are invited to The Well, which meets from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in our youth room. We have dinner together, play a game or two, and then read and talk about the Bible together. We’d love for you to join us!

What is The Well?

The Samaritan Woman met Jesus on a day that felt like any other. But on that day Jesus not only changed her life, but the lives of all those around her. The details of John 4 gives us a model from which to draw encouragement, inspiration, and ultimately the message of the Gospel—that lives are changed through an encounter with Jesus. Just as it was at the well that Jesus initiated a relationship with the Samaritan woman, our hope and prayer is that at “The Well” of St. Peter’s Jesus will initiate, and students will accept, a lifelong relationship with him.

Here at St. Peter’s we believe that teenagers are valuable members of our community and it is vital that they know Jesus loves them and wants them to make him the one from whom they draw the water that will give them eternal life.

The Mission of The Well is to bring glory to God by inviting teenagers to commit their lives to Jesus and build lasting relationships that move them to mature in Christ.

The Vision of the Well is to become part of students’ weekly routines through highly relational teaching and community. This will be accomplished through the involvement of and investment in youth leaders who demonstrate what it means to follow Jesus and disciple teenagers to do likewise. The Well is a platform for Jesus to initiate a relationship. The Well encourages students to tell others about what they have received.

The Values: The Well seeks to first love God, to love each other, and to make disciples.

*All of our Nursery workers, children’s ministry (SPCM) leaders, and youth leaders undergo background checks and abuse prevention training. It is a priority that all children and teenagers who are entrusted to St. Peter’s are protected and kept safe.
